Yates returned late in the game and made his first throws since breaking a bone in his left ankle some six weeks ago. Touted freshman wide receiver Dwight Jones saw his first action of the season, burning what could've been a redshirt year. And Shaun Draughn and Ryan Houston ran for 90 and 74 yards, respectively, helping UNC gain a season-high 186 on the ground."


Report: Davis at the top of Volunteers' wish list: "A couple of morsels of information came out of Butch Davis' Sunday teleconference after North Carolina's 28-7 victory over Georgia Tech." That should be interesting. This may very well end up being a referrendum on UNC football come season's end.
