The Conference Headlines:
ACC Football Kickoff: Your first look at the upcoming season: "The ACC football season begins in just a little over a month. Staff writers Dan Wiederer and Sammy Batten attended the ACC Football Kickoff in Greensboro to bring you your first look."






Seniors return for unfinished business : "N.C. State's Willie Young, Duke's Vince Oghobaase and Clemson's C.J. Spiller abstained from the normal post-junior-year exodus of top players to the NFL. Their return boosted their teams' prospects for the coming season and all three said they have more to accomplish this fall."

ACC football needs way to boost image: "With Bobby Bowden nearing retirement and his Florida State program no longer an automatic national contender, the Atlantic Coast Conference will begin its 57th year without a clear face for its football programs."
